New Rates!!! $300/day includes engineer and up to 10 hours Hourly: $40/hr Booking Policy Session billing begins at the time you scheduled. A 50% deposit is required for all sessions over 4 hours in length to lock in time. Cancellation Policy Music Garage must be notified of cancellation 48 hours prior to the scheduled session. Lack of proper notification will result in loss of deposit.

A few fine points:
*Yes, we also charge for set up time because this is where the engineering work starts. *You can generally count on spending about 1 day for demos and around 3-5 days or more for tracking and mixing a full length CD. The number of days needed may change depending on the number of overdubs and the complexity of the mix. *Plan on being very well rehearsed and have new strings, drum heads etc ready to go BEFORE the session starts. *We do have a studio drum kit available for use. Please let us know in advance if you'd like to use it, so we can make sure it is ready to go for your session. *If you'd like a tour of the studio please call to set up a time. If you just "stop by" we may be in a session and unable to give you a proper tour. *Whether you want to track a Demo, an EP or an entire album, please call to discuss your particular studio needs. Rates for Hip Hop
Our Rate for Hip Hop is $40/hr. This includes the engineer and a finished mix or mixes on a CD-R. Extra copies can be made $1/cd each.
We also sell Hip Hop beats ranging in price from $20 up to $100.

All Hip Hop sessions begin at the time you scheduled, and there is a 1 hour minimum, NO EXCEPTIONS! No call, No shows will not be tolerated.
Try to bring your beats in as wav files and NOT MP3's. Wav files will sound much better and you'll thank me later!

Our Location is one of the most convenient in Indianapolis - located on the northeast side just south of the castelton area.
Our recording studio equipment features high end, boutique microphones and preamps.
Music Garage features a PRO TOOLS | HD2 Accel digital recording studio with up to 96 tracks of 24 bit/96khz digital recording capabilities. The studio features 2 isolation booths and a large live tracking room.
Our Live Room is large enough to track a full band in, tuned with custom recording studio soundproofing by Auralex Acoustics, with 10' cielings and large windows providing visual communication between engineer and musicians.
Our recording studio design, by Wes Lachot Design, features floated walls and floor for maximum sound isolation. Custom acoustic treatment by Auralex Acoustics rounds out the control room for a professional sound and look.
Our Lounge Area is available to take a break from recording, check your email/surf the internet, watch t.v., to do writing and arranging.
